A useful design story
One project, five questions.
The goal is to make the reasoning reusable, including the decisions that did not work.
Challenge
What must the design do? State its constraints and how success will be judged.
Architecture
How do the blocks fit together? Explain the interfaces and operating assumptions.
Decisions
Why choose this approach? Show the alternatives, trade-offs and revisions.
Results
What was actually checked? Give the conditions, design revision and limits of the evidence.
Lessons
What can someone reuse? Describe remaining problems and what to try next.
People, AI, or both.
Projects are welcome regardless of how they were designed. Document who did what: requirements, architecture, implementation, review and verification. If AI helped, describe its tasks and the human checks.
Evidence is not access.
A simulation, a layout check and a physical measurement support different claims. Separately state which artifacts are public, restricted or unavailable, and their licences. A public file alone does not establish correctness.
